Walking & riding around during the Brisbane floods in West End, it was actually kind of nice to see so many people outside in the streets. We built these amazing streets for cars to roam around and we don’t even remeber that there are people in the cars, people in the houses we drive past, and real people whose lives are affected by what we do each day.. like driving.. things that contribute indirectly to worsen our environment and, yes, eventually result in disaster for ourselves & our neighbours.. not in an isolated island in the pacific somewhere.. but the ones down the road!!
The clean up has begun. Let’s remember the stench, dirt, mud & horror. Let’s make our environment better by living more simply and responsibly.
